The WCBE Delicious Donor Spotlight is a recognition given to a restaurant that has continually supported WCBE year after year - though food donations for fund drives, and special fundraising events.
WCBE is very thankful for the support from the local restaurant community!
About Katzinger's Delicatessen

Katzinger’s Delicatessen in German Village is described as an “insanely busy one-of-a-kind deli” that hosts a varied menu of sandwiches, an array of homemade salads and desserts, deli catering, and specialty foods.
Why Katzinger's owner, Diane Warren, supports WCBE
"I get to start and end my day with Morning Edition or All Things Considered - in depth news I can trust to be accurate. Sometimes there’s a human interest story that makes me laugh or cry. I like unadulterated emotions. I feel like I am good friends with some of the reporters. Scott Simon and I hang out on my treadmill Saturday mornings .
I get to listen to (although not often enough) different kinds of music from all over the world. That is good for the economy, too, because some if it I just need to own.
A week without This American Life is a week without sunshine. Even a little deli owner can learn from Marketplace. A lot. Splendid Table’s Lynn Rosetto Kasper’s enthusiasm for food makes me wish she worked for me. Well, that and her incredible knowledge. Prairie Home Companion always makes me smile. Old style radio for today- where else can you find that? I always learn something from Fresh Air. I even learn (while I’m laughing) from Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me."
