Volunteers are what make WCBE value to the community unlimited! We understand that everyone has something unique to contribute, and we offer a variety of ways you can assist. Experience is not necessary to volunteer, just enthusiasm and commitment. We will provide training in exchange for your time and commitment. Volunteering your time is a great way to meet new people, gain valuable job experience and have some community spirited fun!

come, but small ones surround us every day.” This spring WCBE has 100+
hourly opportunities for our volunteers to help central Ohio’s NPR
station raise the necessary funds to operate for the remainder of this
fiscal year.We would like to invite you to give the “gift of time” to help answer phones and take much needed pledges during our annual spring fundraiser. As always, your help is very valuable to us, and you will, of course, be well-fed by area restaurants, pick up a free CD or two, and have lots of fun hanging out with your friends at WCBE. Please take a look at the shift schedule and mark your choice(s). The phones will open on Thursday, April 3rd and conclude on Wednesday evening, April 9th. Please complete the volunteer form by March 18th. I will confirm your shift dates and times on March 27th via email ONLY. Thank you in advance for your help; we certainly couldn’t organize a successful fundraiser without the help of our volunteers.
