Ohio gas prices are higher to start the new work week, but auto club AAA expects prices to decline overall this year.
The price for a gallon of regular gas in Ohio averages $3.24 in today's survey from AAA, the Oil Price Information Service and Wright Express. That's 5 cents higher than a week ago. Ohio's prices are still below the national average of $3.30, which is about the same as last week. AAA spokesperson Kimberly Schwind says prices last year set a record average high both nationally and in Ohio. She tells Alison Holm increased domestic production and lower demand could make prices look better this year.
