Additional Listeria Illnesses Linked To Springfield Plant

The Centers for Disease Control says more than a dozen people have become sickened by a listeria outbreak connected to the Dole processing plant in Springfield. Three more people have fallen ill, including two from Ohio, bringing the total to 18 people in nine states. One person died of the illness. The outbreak is linked to packaged salads produced at the plant.
