Amazon Confirms Plans For Air Cargo Network In Wilmington

Online retailer Amazon says it will operate an air cargo network out of the Wilmington Air Park in Clinton County. The company says it will support overnight and two-day deliveries to U.S. customers. Amazon will lease 20 planes from Air Transport Services Group in exchange for a future ownership stake in that company. The park lost thousands of jobs when DHL moved to the Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky airport last year.
