Appeals Court Sides With Plaintiffs In Discrimination Lawsuit Against Chipotle

The Sixth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Cincinnati has awarded 600 thousand dollars in damages to three women who filed a lawsuit accusing restaurant chain Chipotle of gender discrimination. The court says the chain fired the three former general managers on the basis of gender. A former manager was described in court as telling at least one of the women that there "sure are a lot of overweight women working here." The company has yet to comment.
