usattorneys.com

Bond is set at 150 thousand dollars for the motorist who Columbus Police say was intoxicated when he struck and killed a construction worker early Saturday along I-70 near Hilliard-Rome Road. Police say 59-year-old Steve Cook was struck while standing in a work zone by a car driven by 30-year-old Edward Torres. Police say Torres drove through construction barrels blocking three closed lanes.

Jim has been with WCBE since 1996. Before that he worked as a reporter at another Columbus radio station, and for three newspapers in Southwest Florida.
