CCS Enrollment Increases

Columbus City Schools officials say enrollment this year is 1.1 percent above last year.Enrollment increased slightly last year, reversing nearly a decade of declines. The district now has more than 51 thousand students. The greatest increases were in the first, second and third grades. The district also gained more than 100 students in preschool and kindergarten, but lost hundreds of high-school sophomores, juniors and seniors.
