Charges Filed in Knox County Child's Death

Knox County sheriff's deputies have charged a Mount Vernon woman and her boyfriend in connection with Sunday's death of her 4-year-old son.  

27-year-old Tabitha Raver and 38-year-old David Scott face multiple charges. Deputies say Raver called 911 and told dispatchers her son had twice fallen down a flight of stairs on Saturday. Autopsy results are pending.
