City And County Say Cutting Evictions Key To Addressing Affordable Housing Shortage

Columbus and Franklin County officials continue working on a plan to address a 54,000-unit affordable housing shortage.

Columbus City Council member Jaiza Page says part of that plan involves working with landlords and tenants to cut the number of evictions filed in the region.

Paige says she will also propose a review of the city's retaliatory eviction codes section and make changes to protect tenants from unfair and unlawful evictions.
