A Franklin County grand jury has declined to indict a Columbus police officer for shooting and killing a man last February.
Steven Reed was killed by Nathan Schwind at a home on Letchworth Avenue after Schwind responded to a domestic violence call at a home on Eldon Avenue. Prosecutors say Reed went to the Letchworth Avenue home and exchanged gunfire with police. The final report from an internal investigation was released yesterday, and CDP officials say Schwind will not be discliplined.
