Columbus police officials say officers shot and wounded a robbery suspect last night. Officials say two other suspects in the robbery of a Parsons Avenue auto parts store were arrested without incident. The shooting happened on South High Street near Morrill Avenue when 37-year-old Clifton Satterwhite allegedly reached for his wasteband while being chased by officers. He is being treated at a local hospital. 24-year-old Vandyke Nu and 33-year-old Ramone Wright are in custody. Police say the trio is suspected in a dozen local robberies dating back to early December.
