Columbus Schools, City Team Up To Offer Students Safe Summer Activities

The school year comes to a close this week in Columbus, and city and district officials are reminding parents and students about summer programming options.  Columbus Mayor Andy Ginther.

More information can be found online at columbus.gov/schoolsout. Ginther says the city also has about 160 summer job openings for youth. The deadline to apply is June 9th. Columbus Schools Superintendent Dan Good says there are several summer school programs for kids to stay engaged and get ahead on some subjects.

Good says registration is open for all grade levels. There's a small registration fee for high school students.
