Democrats Call For Elimination Of State's "Pink Tax"

Democratic state lawmakers have proposed legislation eliminating taxes on feminine care products. If approved by majority Republicans, Ohio would become the sixth state to scrap the so-called "pink tax."    Co-sponsoring State Representative Greta Johnson says women are already struggling to earn the same as men, and the sales tax on essential products is another hurdle they have to face.

Co-Sponsoring State Representative Kevin Boyce of Columbus says lifting the 'Pink Tax' will benefit working and middle class women and their families.
