Doctor Charged With Murder Posts Bond

The New Albany physician charged with killing a pregnant Pataskala woman will be on house arrest while he awaits his trial scheduled for early May.

44-year-old Ali Salim posted bond Monday. He is charged in the death of Deanna Ballman and her unborn child. Prosecutors say he gave her a fatal dose of heroin after she responded to a housekeeper ad last year.
