Family Of Man Killed In Crash With Deputy's Cruiser Sues Franklin County

The family of a man killed in a crash with a Franklin County Sheriff's cruiser in July of last year has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the county. 77-year-old Nyal Brown’s van was hit by a cruiser  on Sullivant Avenue. The cruiser had its lights and siren and was traveling at more than 100 miles per hour. Brown's family says Deputy Brian Fritz was driving recklessly. Fritz was not criminally charged. The county has yet to comment.
