The family of a 12-year-old Pickerington boy who drowned at a camp last year has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against camp operators and staffers.
Melvin Aborbie died while swimming at Round Lake Christian Camp in Lakeville last July. The lawsuit says the death resulted from "negligent, reckless, willful and wanton" conduct by the camp and employees. The defendants have yet to comment. Authorities have said lifeguards jumped in when they didn't see the boy resurface.
