Fatal Crash Under Investigation

The State Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of Monday's fatal crash in Marion.

Troopers say a car and pickup truck crashed on U.S. Route 23 at Linn-Hipsher Road. The Patrol says 70-year-old Betty Stone was killed after she failed to yield for traffic. The driver of the pickup, 77-year-old Joseph Weiler, along with his 70-year-old wife Lois, were injured.
