Feds Deport Jordanian-Born Ohio Businessman

The Youngstown businessman who lived in the U.S. for 38 years is being deported to his native Jordan. Amer Adi Othman boarded a flight Monday night.

He was taken into federal custody on January 16. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement declined comment on the case. Ohio Democratic Congressman Tim Ryan had tried to stop Othman's deportation through a private bill President Trump's administration ignored.  Othman's family held a rally in Cleveland yesterday.  The feds say Othman used a sham marriage to get a green card in 1979.
