A jury has cleared a former high school football player of a rape charge.
The jury acquitted Roger Lewis Junior of one count of rape yesterday and deadlocked on a second count, leading to a mistrial. Lewis was accused of sexually assaulting a Pickerington Central High School classmate on two separate occassions, but he claimed the sex was consensual.
