The Ohio Attorney General's office says the former head of the Coshocton Metropolitan Housing Authority has pleaded guilty to embezzling more than 430 thousand dollars from the agency between 2012 and 2017.

Sentencing is pending for 64-year-old Gregory Darr. Prosecutors say he and 54-year-old former agency worker Eric Blackwell, used the money to pay restaurant bills, travel and improve several properties they jointly owned.

Jim has been with WCBE since 1996. Before that he worked as a reporter at another Columbus radio station, and for three newspapers in Southwest Florida.
