Former Ohio Judge Arrested Following Stabbing Death Of His Former Wife

cleveland.com

Shaker Heights police say a woman was fatally stabbed at her home late Saturday.

Officers found the body of 45-year-old Aisha Fraser after responding to a report of a  domestic dispute at the home. Police say former Cuayhoga County Judge Lance Mason was arrested after trying to leave the scene and striking a police vehicle. Fraser was Mason's former wife who filed for divorce in 2014 after he attacked her in a car in front of their children. Mason served nine months behind bars and later was appointed Cleveland's Minority Business Development Administrator. Mayor Frank Jackson on Sunday announced Mason's termination, effective immediately.  Fraser worked in Shaker Heights Schools for 16 years and most recently taught at Woodbury Elementary School.
