The man charged with murdering his mother in Gahanna has been arrested in Garden Grove, California.
Police there say 27-year-old Jeffrey Perry was arrested Friday afternoon allegedly while robbing a local restaurant. Gahanna police say Perry stabbed and killed 53-year-old Linda Perry at her home on Chadwood Drive on December 23. Extradition is pending. Local authorities have declined to release a possible motive, but say the two were estranged until Jeffery Perry moved from California to live with his mother last November.
