The U.S Department of Education says graduation rates at Ohio's public high schools are improving.
The department says the rate for the 2009-10 school year was 81 percent, 3 percent higher than the national rate, and 2 percent higher than in the 2006-2007 school year. The high school dropout rate remained at 4 percent, unchanged from the previous school year.
