Judge Blocks Enforcement Of Cincinnati's Bump Stock Ban

A Hamilton County judge has issued a temporary restraining order blocking the City of Cincinnati from enforcing it's two-month-old ban on bump stocks.

A hearing is scheduled for October.  Two gun rights groups sued to stop the law, claiming it violates the Second Amendment.  They also sued the City of Columbus over it's recently enacted gun restrictions. Like their counterparts in Columbus, Cincinnati officials say bump stocks are a firearm accessory and not subject to the Constitution.
