Koch Brothers Spending More On Ads In Ohio's U.S. Senate Race

businessinsider.com

A political group backed by billionaires Charles and David Koch is spending another 2.2 million dollars television and digital ads in the U.S. Senate race in Ohio. This brings the brothers' investment on ads attacking Democratic challenger Ted Strickland to 7.7 million dollars. Koch groups, including Americans for Prosperity, also have been knocking on doors and making phone calls to voters to boost support for incumbent Rob Portman. The ads focus on state taxes and fees raised while Strickland was governor. The billionaires are focusing on protecting Republican seats in the U.S. Senate and House.
