Life In Prison For 2010 Drive-By Gunman

A Columbus man will serve life in prison after pleading guilty yesterday to killing a man in a drive-by shooting in January of 2010.

20-year-old Alex Ferguson pleaded guilty in the shooting of 18-year-old Tyrone Malcolm on East Livingston avenue. Police say it was gang-related. The car's driver pleaded guilty earlier and was sentenced to eight years in prison. Another man in the car is awaiting trial.
