Local Retailer Reports October Sales, Revenue Gains

New Albany-based L Brands reports an 8 percent increase in sales last month, beating the expectations of Wall Street analysts. Revenue rose by 11 percent over the same period a year ago to nearly 681 million dollars. The sales figures at stores open at least a year are a key indicator of a retailers health.
