Man Shot By Cop Facing Criminal Charges

Columbus police have filed burglary and firearms charges against a Whitehall man shot by officers last Thursday after he allegedly fired his weapon into his girlfriend's home.

26-year-old Thomas Bell remains hospitalized following the shooting in the 7-hundred block of Heyl Ave. Police say officer Joseph Valiski shot and wounded Bell as the man through an alley.
