Columbus police say an officer shot a man in the OSU campus area this morning after he tried to run the officer over with his car.
Police say the unnamed man is hospitalized in stable condition after being shot near Summit Street and 16th Avenue. Police say officers approached the man after getting a call about someone slumped behind the wheel of a car. The man then tried to drive away.
