Mosquito Pool In Licking County Tests Postitive For West Nile Virus

Licking County health officials say a mosquito caught in a trap near Johnstown in late June tested positive for West Nile Virus. It's the first positive test in the county this year. The virus has been identified in more than two dozen mosquitoes trapped in seven counties this year, according to the Ohio Department of Health. No human cases have been reported.
