Mount Vernon May Open Public Park For Goose Hunting

tripadvisor.com

Mount Vernon city officials are considering a plan to open a public park for goose hunting. City officials say they are considering a hunt to drive a flock of 400 Canada geese out of the park after nonlethal methods failed. Bird droppings are blamed for unsanitary conditions at Ariel-Foundation Park, including high levels of E. coli in the Kokosing River.
