Ohio's Division of Parks and Recreation and Watercraft would be combined under a Department of Natural Resources a budget proposal aimed at trimming costs. Governor John Kasich says merging the divisions will ultimately increase visitor spending and save the state nearly 1 million dollars. A single office would be created under the plan with a unified corps of officers available to provide services.
