The Ohio Department of Health says the state is in the midst of a full-blown flu outbreak. The department has classified this year's flu season as "widespread", finding cases in more than half of the state's 88 counties. Columbus Public Health officials say 30 people a week are being hospitalized for flu-related complications. State and local health officials say supplies of flu vaccines are in good shape. They're reporting no risk of a shortage of vaccines or the treatment drug Tamiflu in the Columbus area, despite spot shortages across the country.
