The Cleveland Heights woman who was believed to be the oldest person in the United States has died.
The family says 114-year-old Lessie Brown died Tuesday. Brown was born in 1904 and moved to the Cleveland area with her family when she was 18-years-old. She became the nation's oldest person following the 2018 death of a 114-year-old Pennsylvania woman.
