Ohio's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate for December is 4.6 percent, unchanged from November.
The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services reports today that non-farm payrolls increased by 29 hundred in December, with job gains in sectors including construction and manufacturing. The state lost jobs in sectors including professional and business services; trade, transportation and utilities; information; and leisure and hospitality. The national jobless rate for December is 3.9 percent.
