ONG To Participate In Cyber Security Effort

A cyber protection team of soldiers from U.S. Army National Guard units in Ohio, Indiana and Michigan will be among the first of three such teams beginning work this fall to support the military's cyber defense efforts. Ohio guard officials say the team will consist of 39 soldiers. The three states have many soldiers who work as civilians in information technology and academic fields who can offer expertise in cyber defense techniques. The National Guard will establish four more teams around the country in fiscal year 2017 and three more the next year.
