OSU Asks Judge To Dismiss Spielman's Lawsuit Over Use Of His Likeness

The attorney for former Ohio State football star Chris Spielman says he's disappointed the school is asking a judge to throw out a lawsuit alleging it used ex-athletes' photos without permission. Spielman's class-action suit seeks compensation for the former athletes and an end to the marketing programs in question. Attorney Brian Duncan says he's disappointed Ohio State "took a defensive position instead of trying to resolve the underlying claims." University spokesperson Chris Davey says the school believes Spielman made legally and factually unfounded claims.
