Police: Burglar Killed On East Side

Columbus police are investigating a deadly home invasion style robbery attempt on the East side.

Police say 19-year-old Donald Griffin opened fire on a burglar yesterday at his Easthaven Drive home, causing the suspect to fall out of a second-story window onto a concrete patio. Griffin says he acted in self defense. He has not been charged.
