Review Board Recommends Beavercreek Police Wear Body Cameras

The Beavercreek citizens and law enforcement board reviewing last year's fatal police shooting of John Crawford III wants officers to start wearing body cameras.  The board's report on Crawford's death says cameras would make officers more accountable to the public.  Other recommendations include forming a citizens advisory committee to improve police-community relations and recording police training sessions. Crawford, an African-American, was killed by a white officer inside of a store last August while brandishing an air rifle.
