Rhodes Tower Work Forces Move Of Peregrine Falcon Nest Box

Jan 3, 2018

The exterior renovation of the Rhodes state office tower in Columbus has naturalists hoping peregrine falcons will find a new, temporary roost.

A nest box atop the 41-story building has been moved to the Riffe Center. Officials also pulled the video feed of the box, but plan to resume it at the Riffe Center. Authorities were concerned parent falcons would harass workers. The Ohio Department of Natural Resources is hopeful the birds will join others at the Riffe Center.
