State Says Gas Pipeline Builder Spilled Mud In Two Ohio Counties

roverpipelinefacts.com

The Texas company building a high-pressure natural gas pipeline in Ohio has been issued violation notices by the state EPA for spilling drilling mud in separate wetlands. The notices say Rover Pipeline spilled 2 million gallons of the mud used as a lubricant into wetlands while drilling beneath the Tuscarawas River in Stark County. They also say the company spilled 50 thousand gallons of the naturally occurring mud call bentonite the next day in Richland County. The 4.3 billion dollar, twin 42-inch pipeline project will transport gas from fracking operations.
