Donald Trump’s son visited with supporters of the Republican presidential nominee last night at one of Athens County's well-known businesses. Aaron Payne of member station WOUB in Athens reports.
Donald Trump Jr met with members of the Sportsmen for Trump organization and other supporters of his father’s presidential bid at the Nelsonville (Ohio) headquarters of Rocky Brand.
He shared his admiration of the outdoor wear company and how it was able to build itself up nationwide.
If elected, Trump says his father would create a job climate where more Americans could do the same.

He wants to make sure that they have the same opportunity to start a great family, start a great business, to thrive without government being in every aspect of your life, without the over regulations and all the things I’m sure you’ve seen here are Rocky.”
Rocky Brand interim CEO Mike Brooks says the invitation to Trump Junior was not a company endorsement of his father...but it was a personal one based on his appreciation of the nominees business background.
Polls show Trump and democratic nominee Hillary Clinton in a tight race for Ohio two weeks from Election Day.
