Upper Arlington City Council members have approved plans for a mixed-use development project along Lane Avenue near North Star Road.
The Arlington Gateway project will include an eleven story building with 27-thousand square feet of retail space, 200 apartments, and a seven story parking garage. Opponents remain concerned over traffic congestion, pedestrian safety, and neighborhood aesthetics. Developers hope to have the project completed by 2021 but must wait until a traffic study is conducted and approved before construction begins.
