Columbus City Council is scheduled to vote on Monday to approve a vendor that will supply police officers with body cameras. A city committee has chosen Texas-based Watch Guard Video as the vendor from a pool of 12 applicants. The city wants to start equipping officers with body cameras by the end of the year.  Estimated cost is 8.5 million dollars.
