Wright State Teachers Out On Strike

Hundreds of teachers at Wright State University are on strike.

School officials say classes will continue with most teachers still on the job, including some union members. Some classes will be combined, some taught by substitutes and others offered online.  560 of the university's faculty of 1,700 belong to the American Association of University Professors. The union rejected the latest employment terms issued by the school's Board of Trustees. Those terms involve areas including health care and pay. The university has said it negotiated "in good faith" and has put forth the best employment terms it could.
