Wright State University Menu Draws Social Media Protests

Wright State University officials are apologizing for a controversial menu offered to students during this Black History Month.  The menu listed chicken, mashed potatoes, cornbread and collard greens under photos of Doctor Martin Luther King Junior and other famous African-American leaders.  It drew several complaints from students, faculty and staff on social media.  The school's dining services provider says it try to offer authentic and traditional cuisine reflecting themes that celebrate national events. The company and Wright State president David Hopkins have apologized. Hopkins says the school in Fairborn is committed to diversity.
