Richelle Antczak MCuen Director of Membership Visual Brand Manager Substitute Local Music Host
Richelle earned her BA in Communication/Journalism from Ohio State in late 2000. She first received her start in radio at OSU's student-run radio station, "The Underground" (formally KBUX). There she was an on-air personality, the assistant program director, and a member of the operations team. Two years later in her college career, Richelle was employed as a student board operator and broadcast technician intern at the WOSU Studios in Columbus, OH.
After graduation in December 2000, Richelle took her talents to WCBE. Over the past nine years she’s worn may hats at central Ohio’s NPR station which include: producer of “It’s Movie Time”, the locally produced, award-winning film module, assistant to WCBE’s operations director, and evening/weekend announcer.
From May 2002 – late August 2006, Richelle hosted “All Access”, her own two-hour eclectic music show. In 2001 she assumed the responsibilities of the station’s webkeeper and in 2005 committed herself full-time to Membership Director and sub-host of the station’s morning and mid-day music programs, “Ante Meridiem” and “The Global Village”.
In her free time, Richelle can usually be found exploring the great outdoors accompanied by her husband, her son and their two adorable dogs. |
