An Ohio State University study shows walking and texting is nearly as dangerous as texting and driving. Researchers say hospital emergency rooms treated 15-hundred pedestrians for a host of injuries in 2010, and those numbers will double by 2015. The study shows most of the people who were treated tripped and fell, while others were hit by buses and cars. Researchers say pedestrians should find a place to stop before sending a text message.
