Columbus Man's Plea Bargain Awaits Judicial Approval

A judge must approve a plea bargain in which a Columbus man has agreed to plead guilty in a scheme to rob people selling their cars online. 21-year-old Jonathan Flores-Oquendo bought cars in Columbus and Middletown and robbed the sellers at gunpoint of the cash. The deal calls for a 28 year prison sentence in exchange for prosecutors dropping an unrelated murder charge. Three co-conspirators have been charged in the scheme that began in late 2011.
